The lights aren't moving
Hazeshow needs to hear the music. The first time, macOS asks to let it hear your Mac's sound: allow it in System Settings, Privacy & Security, Screen & System Audio Recording. Then check Settings → Sound is set to the sound playing on this Mac.
How do I get it on my TV?
Install Hazeshow on your Apple TV and open it. On your Mac, choose your TV in Settings → Apple TV (or press D). Turn on Play the music on the TV to hear the music from the TV, in time with the lights.
Can I play music from my iPhone?
Yes. Turn on AirPlay Receiver on your Mac (System Settings, General, AirDrop & Handoff), then send your iPhone's audio to your Mac from Control Center. Hazeshow hears it like anything else your Mac plays.
The lights are a little behind the music
Bluetooth speakers and AirPods play late. Raise Delay the lights in Settings → Sound until they line up. For a TV, use TV lag in Settings → Apple TV.
How do I pick the room?
Press G to step through the rooms and pictures, or choose in Settings → Show. Automatic picks from the song's genre; ⇧G brings it back to Automatic.
Can I teach it?
Press J where you wanted the lights to change. That song changes there every time it plays, and Hazeshow learns how often you like changes. Press ? to see every key.
